NA #2 crashes client

Won't Fix

Attaching log.

Client will sometimes crash on World NA #2 sometimes. Get's to the point where it shows the Rules, but crashes to desktop after that. No request to submit a crash report. SE works if I load a local game, or load another multiplayer server, and about 80% of the time on World NA #2.

Started after last hot-fix.

Sorry that you're experiencing issues with this. From the log, there is no exception meaning no crash. Could you please clarify the crash to the desktop? Does it actually crash? Are you having to exit it? Does it exit the game itself fully? It could be that you have supplied the wrong log but there is no crash in the one provided. We would need more information too, when does this happen? I appreciate it's 'sometimes' but we need to reproduce issues to report them or at least be looking at a specific area to do so. What are you doing when this happens? Is it purely at 'rules' every single time?

I loaded into the game several times today, worked fine. Now, I've tried it 3 times in a row just now and says Loading, get's to the rules screen waits a few seconds, and then the program closes. Seems only to happen on the World NA #2.

Thank you for confirming. Below are our usual suggestions for issues. It would be worth trying these as I can't see others having the same issue so seems more specific to you rather than everyone.

  • Verify your game files in Steam

  • Right click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files

  • Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file

  • It means your game configuration will be deleted
  • You can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

  • Delete ShaderCache folder

  • Back up your whole Space Engineers Roaming folder and delete it
  • Restart Steam
  • Reinstall VC Redist 2017
  • Update graphic drivers
  • Reinstall the game
  • Make sure your operating system is fully updated

Could you please confirm the above steps have been taken? Please then supply a new log from when the issue happens. Could you also test a couple of the other Official servers and see if it is only happening with the one, or multiple.
