Headlamp not reliably turning on when near very large grids

Very frequently, when I attempt to turn on my suit's headlamp, nothing happens other than the indicator on the HUD changing. It takes several attempts to get it to activate. This primarily happens when the game is under load, such as when in proximity to very large stations and ships. It acts like it misses the activation tick, which is odd because the game is otherwise running just fine, with a 1.0 sim speed.

Thanks for letting us know about this issue.

Unfortunately, I´m not able to reproduce it on my end.

From video, I can see that you are using some mods on the game. Is this issue happening to you also on vanilla (witout any mods) game?

If yes, can you share me your affected save file so I can take a look on your save/build?

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
