At a specific time every night the light shines through voxels and onto the surface of the terrain and trees.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. it may be worth looking at this https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/sun-shining-through-everything (although it states everything) and the fix they found. If this doesn't help, can you supply a log file and also a save with an area where we could reliably reproduce this? Do you get any changes with different graphical options?
You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
