Performance on 144Hz and 240 Hz Monitors
Won't Fix
Hello,
A few months ago i submitted this topic
https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/ticket/18389
regarding the "felt" fps on screen when playing on a monitor that wasn't locked at 60 Hz.
Recently i tested the game on a 144 and 240 Hz monitor (even on a different PC!) and the issue still remains.
To this day i wasn't able to find a solution to this problem even though others had the same issue.
How aren't the developers aware of this?
I suppose this issue exists because the updates-per-seconds (ups) within the game are locked at 60 and i understand that this number won't be changed anytime soon but there must be a way to prevent the game from looking like a powerpoint slide-show even on really high fps.

Hello, Alex!
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I have tested this on my 144hz monitor and don't appear to notice what you're noticing. I am reaching around 120 FPS and it feels like this too. Could I please ask for a copy of your log? We can have a look at this and see if there is anything obvious that sticks out :)
You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
Kind Regards

Hello, Engineer!
Because there is no new comment from you, and we are unable to reproduce the issue on our own, I will close this thread now as outdated.
If you or any other player will experience this issue again, please make a new thread and provide all needed info there.
