Constant Crashes in Multiplayer official server NA#3

SpaceAged shared this bug 3 years ago
Won't Fix

9 out of 10 times try to load into a multiplayer world the game crashes before it gets past the message of the day.

So far, I have tried:

clear shaders

uninstall the game, clean old files

every setting

GPU drivers

windows update

antivirus

I even format the SSD and reinstalled windows 10

nothing is working. these logs may not even help. it doesn't display a crash report window after a crash. I have played 950 hours on this computer, and it only started doing this sometime around the last update.

Hello, SpaceAged!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Is this strictly happening on only NA#3 or, is it with other servers too? Do you ever get this in lobby games or single-player modes at all?

There isn't an exception in your log file so could you please supply a log from windows even viewer when this happens?

Kind Regards

Here is some more information from the event viewer in window in a .txt file. And corresponding SE logs. They are time stamped as the same times. I can load perfectly fine into NA#11. These types of crashes started happening a few months ago, but I thought it was because I was on an unofficial server with a bad skybox mod. But now I can see its happening on official servers the most. I have never experienced a crash of any type in a single player mode.

Oh and randomly when I try NA#3 it WILL actually load into the server. But most of the time it will crash.

I have the newest GPU driver from NVidia,

direct x is updated,

.net is updated,

c++ 2013 is updated.

windows is updated

Hello, SpaceAged!

"Faulting module name: nvwgf2umx.dll" relates to Nvidia driver issues. Could you please do a clean install of the Nvidia drivers? Also, did you notice that this appeared on the latest ones?

Kind Regards

Hello, Engineer!

Because there is no new comment from you, and we are unable to reproduce the issue on our own, I will close this thread now as outdated.

If you or any other player will experience this issue again, please make a new thread and provide all needed info there.

Thank you for understanding.

Kind Regards
