Building From Cockpit

Hello,
I have been trying to build from the Cockpit in my current survival game with the following settings private/scripts enabled. It was not responding to my click to place a block.
I created a new survival world and pasted in a weld ship with the settings at offline/no scripts and it worked. Changing it to private or enabling scripts stopped it working.
