Game Crashes on launch

I have been playing for a few days with no problem whatsoever, but since the big update last Thursday, the game simply won't start. I only get a black screen (a black window if I change the .cfg file to WindowMode = 0) and then back to desktop without even a single error message.

There was a big Windows update on the same day, so I thought it might be a .NET framework problem and I tried removing the update (and even reinstalling windows, and then the game) but it had no effect.

The only info I can get on this crash is in the Windows Event Log :

<Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">

And here are my logs (there is no real error msg in there though)

Game Log

DirectX Log

I also tried sfc /scannow (with Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth just in case), and a memtest on startup. No error detected.

If anyone has any idea about how to fix this, I'll be forever grateful, since I'm completely stuck with this and have tried everything I could think of.
