Please update windows and your graphics cards bug

Solved

I just started playing again and I received a crash log after startup claiming that I haven't updated my windows and graphics card... Even though I do. I didn't know what to do so i verified my game cache after checking to see if there were any updates (there weren't) then I reinstalled direct x and all that and it still doesn't work. So I came here to see if anyone else has the same issue and saw a 7 month older post but no info on how to fix it... I don't understand why the new update would make this happen because my graphics card ALWAYS used to work and even at higher settings... I will put in a log for you...

Thanks for getting back to me, i don't seem to have this issue anymore, and im not sure how i fixed to be honest, i just remember manualy editing video settings in the files with notepad and after a couple hours of changing some stuff i got it to work. However if i try to run the game in fullscreen and not fullscreen windowed it crashes but thats probably my own doing, i can just run it in fullscreen windowed for now. I also checked a couple months after posting this to see if any thing needed updating but nothing still needed updating i don't know why it said i did.
