[1.187.2 ]Pasting cargo containers doesn't add contents weight to grid

Basically what the title says. I pasted a cargo container filled with 1 million stone onto a grid in creative mode. The grid mass in the terminal adjusted for the weight of the actual container block, but not the stone inside.
Having done this, removing the stone from the container also doesn't change the mass, and nor does re-adding it.
