Thank you for your report. Could you please provide us with your logs? You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
I would also recommend you to try these steps:

I don't have an %appdata% folder, where would that be under Steam in Ubuntu?
