Batteries' "fully recharged in" time does not account for the 80% charging efficiency.

Vox Serico shared this bug 3 years ago
Solved

The charge time displayed in the terminal when a battery is selected does not account for the 0.8 efficiency multiplier. (Like the Jump Drive does)

A large-grid battery (3 MWh max, 30% initial charge, 12 MW input) displays a charging time of 10 minutes. The actual time with the 20% loss is 13 minutes.

Hello, Engineer!

This issue shall be already fixed with new game version (v199.020). Closing this thread, now as fixed.

If you are still experiencing it even on the newest version, please let us know either by commenting here or opening completely new thread (that´s the better option for us).

I dont believe there was a 80% battery recharge efficiency before this "fix". Maybe in some much older version. There is no mention of it in game, so it would make sense for it to be 100%. Seems to me like through this "wrong time" bug was a feature (re)introduced. Before this I believe I moved charge from one battery to another with no loss. This feature is not user friendly as power drained on one side and power charged on other side will not match.

Maybe I believed it because of the lying timer.
