Won't Fix

I believe I attached a screenshot detailing the problem, but nothing happened after I clicked "Open" after selecting the image file.

Okay, here's the screenshot. Yes, the game is modded. Okay, never mind. The editor won't let me upload the screenshot. Must be too big or something.

Hello Stephen!

I see you mentioned that your game is modded. Can you re-test this without mods and see if the issue is still there? Also, if you are unable to attach a screenshot on here, Google Drive is a great second option.

Yeah, let me go do that quick. Speaking of needing more information, Miss Perry, have you done any further testing on the hydrogen engine bug I reported, outside of a single test case?

The issue is indeed present in an unmodded save. Try it! Start an empty world, paste Pertam in (actually, now that I think about it, you should probably try it with ALL celestial bodies, in case it's an issue for them all), spawn or build a ship with a cockpit, and enter the planet's gravity well. If you can spawn a ship with with an artificial horizon scripted LCD, all the better, because you get the inclination scale and speed readout, but not altitude on that. You will also not get the HUD artificial Horizon line and altitude overlay, either until ~3,000m above the surface, which, at 1.2g, can be a crashing hazard. Upon lifting off, on Pertam, at least, the altitude readout and Horizon/altitude overlay ARE visible, up to about 14,000m or so, after which they promptly disappear again. Pertam's gravity well extends to ~18,000m above the surface, so you're aware; ~14,000m is still at about 0.07g, so, yeah, that is a problem.

Hello, Stephen!

I appreciate this thread is from a few months back. Is this still happening for you on the latest version? There have been a few updates since then and just wondered if this issue was resolved in-game :) If not, are you able to supply a copy of a save with this happening?

Kind Regards

Hello, Engineer!

Because there is no new comment from you, and we are unable to reproduce the issue on our own, I will close this thread now as outdated.

If you or any other player will experience this issue again, please make a new thread and provide all needed info there.

Thank you for understanding.

Kind Regards
