Solved

To replicate on DS:

Place a powered Spherical Gravity Generator and enter its field area.

Discard ore from inventory. Ore does not fall towards generator and holds in place.

Thank you for attempting to replicate the issue. I too had difficulties and discovered there's an intermediate step I had missed due to habit:

Try setting the Grav Field strength by Ctrl+Clicking to 1.4 (.14g) or less. When I did this the behaviour occured.

I have a starter ship outpost on Keen CA#1 if you want to see it in action.

WAU! After 1.190.101 update generators are working right after they enabled! No more need to reload!!!
