remote controller not on grid - but can be accessed via terminal

I have a large grid ship with antenna and remote controller. When i want access the remote it says, there is no remote controller on grid. The button is greyed out. So i connect via terminal there then i can remote control the remote.
The whole remote thingie is bugged, lists dont work, are messed with connected ships which have or not have also remotes on board. This really needs some love.
