Server Not Responding

Solved

Whenever trying to join any server or dedicated session, the game times out with a "Server Not Responding" Message. I have tried redownloading game, verifying cache, checking internet speed, and taking my firewall down.

(P.S. this is steam version)

I'm having a similar issue. However, this is occurring when there is a substantial amount of mods present. (1gb+)

When creating a fresh world with 20-30 mods, Friends and random players will try to join and within about 15 seconds they seem to "Time Out" and the game tells them that the "Server is not Responding". When testing it with a friend, I had him just sit at the main menu for awhile (varies depending on internet speed) after being told the Server was not responding and he started to load in. Although, the load time appears to be infinite. But when he closed SE and rejoined, he loaded in normally with no issue.

I've recreated this "bug" on every game I've tried with the mods and it's always the same. I've tested every single mod separately and none of them cause this issue. I've also tried just a few together (Less than 10) and it doesn't cause the issue. I've tried joining other players games with over 20+ mods and i get the Server not Responding issue. I try the workaround I've found and go figure, it works.

I don't know if others are getting this, but everyone who joins my games (with 20+ mods) encounter this issue without fail, but only the first time they join that game.

If you require more info, I'll be happy to help.

I fixed the problem although I did nothing to do so. I think it just resolves itself after a while.
