Subgrids detaching when jumping with an active gravity/mass drive

This problem first came to me on a dedicated server, where I used my ship, equipped with a gravity generator and mass block gravity drive, to jump back to my base. The gravity drive was currently active and my ship was travelling at 104m/s. My ship is large grid, but it also has a small grid attached via an advanced rotor to mount gatling guns for extra forward firepower. When I jumped, the subgrid detached and collided with my jump drives, causing an explosion.

I managed to reporduce this in my own world by jumping a ship currently propelled by a gravity drive that also has a rotor small grid subgrid. I tested with small 5km jumps but there was no explosion, however when jumping 500km the subgrid detached and destroyed part of the ship. I also tested with non-gravity drive ships but the subgrids don't detach. As far as I know this only happens with gravity drive or other playermade propulsion systems.

Very interesting.

I assume it may have something to do with some blocks now being updated asynchronously?

I think another problem is grav generators being able to affect mass blocks on the same grid.

Its like pushing your own body, lots of force but it wouldnt make you move anywhere
