F1 and Shift+W disable keyboard input
isolated to Space Engineers only
Windows 11, fresh install of Space Engineers 1, brand new save, no mods. Pressing F1 or Shift+W causes the game to stop responding to all keyboard input. No overlay or menu appears — the game keeps running normally (graphics, physics, motion continue) — only keyboard input stops.
Tested and ruled out: Steam overlay, Windows F1-Help/Edge launch, USB/driver dropout, third-party keyboard/mouse software (none installed), fullscreen vs. windowed (happens in both), world-specific corruption (happens on a brand new world), keybind conflicts (reset to Controls → Defaults, no change).
Confirmed isolated to SE: tested Shift+W and F1/Ctrl+E-equivalent combos in other games and other software — no input issue anywhere except Space Engineers.
