Won't Fix

8 weeks ago i broke my hand and havent been able to play the game. when i came back 2 weeks ago wolves and modded spawns wouldnt spawn. i have done about 10 clean install. i have clean installed my video driver, i have made sure to go through and delete any files associated with the game. every time i do a clean install i get no wolf spawns. the only thing i could think of is that i need to use a display driver uninstaller or there is some hidden registry key blocking the spawn. when i check the sandbox and other setting files wolf is always on and hostility is always normal. i have always created new worlds after each reinstall or change. i have run video card stress tests and do not have any issues. i have rtx4060ti and the game runs around 65% graphics and less than 50% cpu. i have 32 gb ram. somehow the hags hardware accelerated graphics setting was on in windows and i was having graphical bugs like phantom lines, sun shining through planet and 500m tall 75degree spikes in the terain but all those whent away when i turned the hags off. each time i have spent 45minutes to 1 hour walking around at night on flat grassy terrain to test the spawns but havent gotten any spawns in the past 2 weeks.

Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for writing to us on our support Forum.

We are sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue with wolves, spiders, and modded creatures no longer spawning in your worlds. As no log file or world save have been attached to this report for our investigation, could you please attach your Space Engineers log file (named as SpaceEngineers_) along with the world save from the time this issue was occurred?

Also, could you specify any particular settings you have changed for NPC spawning in the world save files? This will help us investigate the issue further and provide a solution.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
