when I click optimize in my nvidia app it sets the grass density to 3.0, but when I drive a rover around with that setting it will crash the game frequently. I found if I turn grass density to 0.0 it will never crash. Can you please tell me what the default value is for grass density or if there is a way you know of that could help me prevent it from crashing while still having the ground look nice

Hello Engineer,

Thank you for reaching out to us on our Support Forum.

We are aware of this issue and already have an internal ticket for it. While it is still being investigated, the following workarounds have helped other players avoid the crash:

  • Update your graphics drivers to the latest version.
  • Disable Low Latency Mode in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
  • Avoid using Photo Mode.
  • Keep your graphics settings on High or lower.
  • Set Grass Density between and 3.

These settings have helped keep the game stable while still maintaining good visual quality.

We appreciate your patience while we continue investigating this issue.

Please let us know if the above steps helped you resolving this issue or if the issue persists.

Kind Regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department
