The sensor unit is not working

After the release of update 1.210, the sensor unit stopped working.

When logging into the game after the update was released, I noticed that the sensor units that control the gateways on my buildings do not respond to me. They do not perform actions either to enter or exit the response zone.0396b035e6a70ae0bd2b8aa723a22e5f1b3fa3486afe3f41e3f61d58e43d9d72

Hello Engineer!

Thank you for reporting this issue.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to reproduce it on my end. Even after setting up the sensor exactly as shown in the attached picture, both actions triggered correctly.

Could you please share the blueprint of the grid, so we can test it directly on our side?

Thank you, and best regards,

QA Department

I'm applying one of the ships where the sensor is not working

I discovered the reason for the sensor's lack of response to me. In the admin menu of the world, I had a mark on the Invisibility point for turrets. I tested the reaction several times with and without a mark. The sensor sees me only when the marker is removed.

I would like to note that previously this point was not reflected in the operation of the sensor.

I have the same issue as after the 1.210 update the sensor does not detect players. Ive checked every possibility there is.

Ive closed and opened the game, Ive a couply of times that the detect player and detect friendly options are on, ive placed a new sensor on a different grid and still they do not detect players.

but the sensors still detect small grid, large grid, stations, and floating objects just fine.

Check the admin panel of the world and remove the mark from the invisibility for turrets.

yeah that helped but this admin was always on for me when ive played in my world and the sensors did work.

I had a similar issue with sensors not detecting me, but to make things unusual, this started occurring even before the 1.210 patch! I had been preparing a build 2 days before the release of 1.210 and autodoors stopped working near the end of a play session. I verified by turning on the sensors field visualization and confirmed that the detection zone box would not turn green when I had stepped into it, even after checking the sensor's ownership was mine, it was set to detect Players, and it was set to detect Owner and Friendlies.

I can confirm that toggling the checkmark for Invisibility in the admin menu fixes it, but I also vouch that I've also had this Invisible option on for several months of Creative mode play and the sensors never stopped until recently.

It's almost as if it is a midgame faction update-related issue, because during a play session, sensors will detect me in the beginning, but after a while, they will stop detecting me (as automatic doors will suddenly stop opening). There was no deliberate interaction with the sensor parameters, though they were modified before with expected behavior.

The fix I had been using was to save and reload the world, which cleared the issue, and so it must be something happening mid-session. Interestingly, my autodoors stopped sensing me hours into a session, because I was away from my computer for a while, and I wasn't doing any actions during that time.

Some additional info: I never change factions. I never modify faction ownership of blocks as I build. For sensor terminal settings, the only parameters I change are Detect Players, Detect Neutral and Detect Enemy.
