Cant mine Ice with my ship drill

Uncle Zak shared this bug 20 days ago
Solved

Hi! I seem to not be able to mine Ice with my little miner ship (Bullfrog SM-32). I can collect it with my personal drill, no problem, but when I try to mine it with ship, I dont see it in the invetory. At some point, I can even get a message that inventory is full and I see that the amount of ice is increasing, but I dont see it.

I have tried to change ships, create a new one, put drill on another ship, but nothing is working.

Thank you for letting me know, how this issue unfolds! :)

Cheers,

Zak

Hi, me again. I did some more testing and found out, that the drill do mine the ores, but I dont see the drill in my grid inventory and it is not passing ores in my containers or cockpit, or connector. I tried several ways to connect drill (directly to container, through small conveyors, or to cockpit, but nothing works.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching our forum with this.

Since from your description it seems, that the drills are mining but the materials aren’t visible or transferring, we’d need to take a closer look at the setup. Could you please share a blueprint or a save file where the issue is happening?

That will help us reproduce and better understand what’s going on. Also please try to share some steps to reproduce and/or video showing this problem triggering and happening on your side.

For save(s):

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

For blueprints:

You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Thank you in advance.
