Small Grid Event Controller

Need More Information

I was trying to have my airlock doors open and close automatically when I park my ship on a small inset connector. The small grid ship has an event controller to do this. The event controller(when targeting a connector) has two event slots. One is for "When Disconnected" the other is for "When connected". I have it set to open the door "When disconnected" and that is working as intended. I have it set to Close door "When connected". That one is not working as intended. I think that when you assign "Close door" to the slot, the game is actually trying to set the door state to open.

do you have 'AND gate' ticked on? if not, it may not function as intended. Scroll down to the bottom of the event controller menu and tick that box, it should work as you describe!

To start with, did you try enabling the AND gate (as Jeckle also suggested above), and see if that resolves the issue on your side?

f that didn’t help, could you please share a screen recording/video showing the issue? It would also be helpful if you could send us the world save where this occurred. That would allow us to investigate and try to reproduce the issue on our side.

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files/videos you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
