Won't Fix

buenas, saludos, el juego el dia de ayer abrio sin problemas ahora me sale este error:

please apply windows updates and update to latest graphics drivers.


ya tengo los controladores de la tarjeta grafica actualizados, y tambien probe borrando la carpeta ShaderCache2, pero aun no se ejecuta, ya reinicie la PC luego de actualizar drivers.

Hello, greetings. The game opened without problems yesterday, but now I'm getting this error: "Please apply Windows updates and update to the latest graphics drivers."


I already have the latest graphics card drivers, and I also tried deleting the ShaderCache2 folder, but it still won't run. I restarted my PC after updating the drivers.

Thank you for writing to us on the forum regarding this issue.

This error usually appears when the game detects an issue with Windows updates, graphics drivers, or the graphics device being used. To resolve this, try the following steps:

  • Please make sure your Windows installation is fully up to date and that there are no pending updates. Even if updates were installed recently, a full restart is required to complete them.
  • We also recommend performing a clean reinstall of your graphics drivers. Please download the latest driver for your Radeon RX 580 directly from AMD, remove the existing driver using a cleanup tool (such as AMD Cleanup Utility or DDU), then reinstall the driver and restart your PC.
  • Because your system also has integrated Intel graphics, please ensure that Space Engineers is using the Radeon RX 580 and not the integrated GPU. You can check this in Windows Settings → System → Display → Graphics, add SpaceEngineers.exe, and set it to High performance.
  • Additionally, please verify the game files via your Steam Library by right-clicking Space Engineers → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.

If the issue persists after trying the above, please send us the log file (named as SpaceEngineers_) from the time this issue occurred.

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
