Air vents stop pressurizing after doors have been used

Investigating

Hi!

I have a multiplayer world with some friends. We only use cosmetic mods (build info, colored block icons ect.)

Our moon base can not be pressurized even though we have airtight rooms. If we restart the server, the vents work just fine until one single door is open and shut. After that, the vents just stop working (all yellow). Even the leak finder says the room is airtight.

We can't simply restart the server every time we enter or leave a room.

Hello Toralf,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.

Could you please check if your issue matches any of the ones already reported?

Room atmospheres not properly separating after Airlock doors close [1.199.025 default] | Space Engineers PC Support

Offset Door has wrong airtight behavior | Space Engineers PC Support

If it doesn’t, could you send us the world save (where the issue occurred), along with a screen recording/video showing the issue and any steps to reproduce it (if there are any)? This will help us investigate the issue on our side.

  • If you are the game host (Lobby), you can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves. If the issue occurred on a Dedicated Server (DS), the DS save files can be found in your, Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated\Saves folder
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files or videos, you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Kind Regards,

Hello Keen,

The server is hosted at GTX gaming. I found the save folder and put everything except the "backup" folder in the attached archive.

The name of the Base is "Moon base beta". After restart the air vents work fine, until we open one airlock. After that, the whole thing breaks.

So, where you able to reproduce the bug?

Update:

With the 208 Update the Air Vents seem to be working correctly again. We have set up our airlocks via script so my best guess is that this is what fixed it:

Fixed an issue with partially opened or closed doors in an OFF state would be considered as fully airtight

Either way, this can be closed.

Well, I spoke to early

Hello,

could you please give me an update regarding this bug?

Is there anything else I can do to help find the cause?

New Info:

After the recent hotfix, I had to restart the server. This always resets the air vents so they work for a while, but I can still notice some faulty behaviour.

Attached are three screenshots that show an airlock between two pressurized rooms. The airlock itself is not pressurized when I am inside and both doors are closed.

Update:

One of our air vents has negative pressure:

Hi,

I play on the same Server as Toralf.

I started on the Earth-Like Planet and then build myself a Large Grid Spaceship obove the Planet outsite the gravity well.

It has a Farming setup inside and it worked fine for 1 week.

Yesterday after i used a jump drive to get to the moon, my air vent inside the ship stopped working.

Seems to be the same problem the other players have.

I was in above the moon outside the gravity well. and the air vent has permanently yellow lights and is not giving air to the room.

I tried a few things, but none are working. (turn air vent on/off, grind down and build new, grind down doors and build new. i made suree it has a connection to the full oxygen tanks [i made an access point and put a oxygen bottle in the tank an took it back])
