Game reports corrupted world when using planet mods

I have been encountering this bug ever since a hotfix between the Fieldwork and Apex survival updates, I was hoping the core systems update would of fixed this but evidently not.

When loading into an world with any planet mod, it doesnt matter what mod or what the state of the world is (many mods, few mods, large file, small file; doesnt matter), the game will always give back a loading error. At first I thought it was just certain worlds being corrupted however the problem has spread to all of my modded worlds making me think this is a game problem and not a mod problem.

A strange aspect of this bug is if I try loading the world again directly the first time, the world will load correctly and also 'unlock' all other worlds with planet mods and allow them to load properly first try in that game session if I were to exit out of the game and log back I will have to repeat this process, as loading in Space Engineers seems to have become extremely slow (especially unloading a world) this means it can take me up to 30 minutes to load a single world and it has become very frustraiting.

I have done extensive testing to replicate this bug, here is a log where I replicate both the loading error and 'burning through' the loading process.


I have also tried verifying game files, graphics drivers, changing how I open the game, and extensive testing with different mods (which is how i narrowed it down to planet mods), please note most planet mods have a MOD_ERROR in the log however that has always been there for years with any planet mod before the bug, I am certain that is not the issue.

Thank you for writing to us on the forum.

We tried to replicate this issue on our side with plant-specific MODs, but the world loads without any issues.

Since you mentioned that the issue occurs at any state of the world, could you please create a new world and add the MODs you suspect might be causing the issue?

If the issue occurs in the new world save as well, please share that world save along with the latest log file related to it. This will help us investigate the issue further.
