Inventory Component pull using MMB has a bug

Edward Tuholske shared this bug 5 months ago
Won't Fix

When you have a part that you want to place and use MMB to pull the components from your cargo container, it doesn't always pull all of the components even if your inventory isn't full. It doesn't do this every time, and I can't determine any criteria that causes this. This happens when you have the part you are going to build selected and when you have your welder selected (such as building something large that takes multiple trips to get all of the components)

I have more than enough of each component (and enough inventory space) and when I click MMB it will sometimes load some, but not all of the components. If I then click MMB again it will load more (or the rest) of the components. This bug has gotten me in the habit of clicking the MMB multiple times to make sure I pull all of the components to build something. I have been having this issue on a Keen official server (#2) for at least a month.

I have all the needed components in one large cargo container and my inventory isn't full after the first MMB. I know that if the needed component takes up more space than you have in your inventory it wont load it, and this bug isn't talking about that. I know that if your assembler is building components as you pull them then it will only load whatever has been built when you MMB (it might appear to be this bug in this situation, but it isn't)
