Hey, it is night the whole time in my world. I tried to tweak day duration in the world settings, changed it to 2 minutes but it doesn't work either.

Did you enable sun rotation? Can you rotate the sun using admin tools menu? (Alt + F10)

Nothing seems to work. Also right after I spawn time changes to day and switches back to night.

From the video you provided, I can see that you are using mods on the affected world.
Are you experiencing the same problem on the vanilla (no mods) world? Can you please try?
If yes, please share us the affected world, so we can try and investigate it further on our side.
You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
