Game Stuttering

Solved

When I first spawn or load in the game is mostly fine it starts stuttering slowly but after like 5 minutes, I will have a lot more stutters the game will just pause for about half a second every like 7 seconds. I watched task manger while this is happening, and my RAM is making a wave it will go up and then drop and when it drops that is when a stutter happens.

I have never had an issue like this on any other game, and I hope this is an easy fix.

There are zero mods I have never even installed mods and yes it does do it in single player.

Hello Michael,

Thank you for sharing the information. Could you please provide a bit more detail so we can investigate further?

Is the game installed on an internal drive (SSD/HDD) or an external drive?
Are there any pending Windows updates waiting to be installed? If so, please install them and try again.
Did you try lowering your graphics settings? You can do this by going to Options > Graphics > Graphics Quality Preset. Use the drop-down menu to change the preset to Low or Medium, save the settings, and check if that improves performance.
If that doesn’t help, please disable any overlays or background software (such as Discord overlay, GeForce Experience, MSI Afterburner, etc.) and test again.
In Options > Display > Video Adapter, which graphics adapter is selected? Please make sure your dedicated GPU (AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT) is selected.
Are you using multiple monitors? If yes, please try launching the game on only your main display and see if that makes any difference.

If the issue still persists, please share a screenshot or screen recording of the Advanced Stats (Shift + F11), along with your log files from the time the issue occurred. These details will help us pinpoint the cause of the stuttering.

You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

I have tried recreating the issue again but cannot get it to stutter. I did a good bit of testing today and the past few days, and after using DDU software to reinstall my graphics drivers a few days ago it seemed to help.

I do have a screen shot from when it was stuttering really badly but not logs.

I believe the issue is fixed and I know the screenshot alone won't help but maybe you might some idea of what might have been happening unless it just was my drivers.
