Forward/Rear Sounds Are Flipped
Need More Information
Blocks that make sound are nearly silent when standing right in front of them, looking at the block. However, if you turn 180 degrees around so you back is to the block, the sound will be loud as can be. Left and right sounds are working perfectly.
Tested in a new world with zero mods.

I updated my sound drivers, and now I don't have directional sound at all. Sound just comes from both sides, regardless of where it's actually located.

Hello Engineer,
Sorry to hear that updating your sound drivers didn’t help.
Did you also check your Windows sound settings, Control Panel > Sound for things like speakers, microphone, and the default playback device?
Also, what type of headset are you using (wired USB, 3.5 mm jack, or wireless)? If possible, try switching the connection mode or testing another headset to see if the issue still happens.
It may also help to set the correct Spatial Sound option for your headset and make sure any headset-specific software/drivers are up to date.
Could you also share the log file from the session when this issue occurred? This will help us investigate further.
Kind Regards,
