Inconsistent hotbar/control panel command availability for grouped disparate AI

Make a group containing a recorder, basic and move AI, select the group in the hotbar config you can add common "AI Behavior" on, off, on/off to the hotbar, the game knows they all accept the same order, but the control panel doesn't: select the group in the control panel and you can't set them as a group. Seems unintentional and is surely inconsistent, inconvenient and frustrating.

Pure vanilla, experimental mode off, Apex steam.

After further discussion, we’ve determined that this is not a bug, so we will move this thread to the Feedback section of the forum.

Generally, AI blocks cannot be enabled as a group because only one offensive or defensive AI can be active at a time. That said, we understand your point - for example, combining a Move AI with a Basic AI Task could reasonably be groupable - and your feedback will help us evaluate potential improvements in the future.

This is fair, though it's specifically the turn-them-all-off I wanted to do from the control panel, which certainly seems reasonable especially since I can do it from the hotbar. As for allowing nonsensical commands, well, that's kind of SE's bread and butter, or maybe its jam, no? :-) Thanks for looking in to it.
