Alt-MMB to deposit carried items.

Won't Fix

Anytime I use Alt-MMB to deposit what I'm carrying, it always goes to an attached ship. I put sorters in place to prevent it, but it does it anyway.

This is HIGHLY obnoxious as it makes the Alt-MMB function useless.

I did some searching and found that people have been complaining about this issue for years. Please fix it.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.

It seems the issue may be the same as the one reported here in this thread. Could you please check and confirm if it matches your case?

If not, please send us a screen recording/video showing the issue in an unmodded (vanilla) world, along with the save file of that vanilla world, so we can investigate further.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files or videos, you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
