Publishing Blueprints to workshop is not possible from local Blueprints with Thumbnails.

Need More Information

Hi there,

I'm unable to save blueprints with thumbnails to the Steam Workshop.

The workaround is to delete the image inside the blueprint folder and publishing the blueprint without it. Why is this happening?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Joshua,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum. And we sincerely apologize for the delayed response to your thread.

From your description, it seems that your Cloud storage might be full, preventing you from saving additional Blueprints.

To resolve this, please follow these steps:

  1. From the Main Menu in the game.
  2. Select Options, then Game.
  3. Locate the Enable Cloud option and uncheck the box.
  4. Click OK to save the settings. Your new blueprints will now be saved locally on your device.

Alternatively, you can publish your blueprints from the cloud to Mod.io or the Steam Workshop, and then delete them from the Cloud to free up space. When publishing, you can set the visibility to Private so that only you can access them. This also allows you to access your blueprints from other devices via Mod.io or Steam Workshop.

For step-by-step instructions, please refer to the “How to Share Blueprints” section on this page.

Please let us know if this helps.

Kind Regards,
