Weird error
Need More Information
Hi! I've had a few crashes related to memory in the game, but while checking out the logs i see this error repeating over 20 times per second! I'm worried it might have something to do with it.
2025-09-18 20:05:17.177 - Thread: 25 -> TryChangeToFullscreen failed with HRESULT = 0x887A0022
Let me also thank this game's devs for creating such a wonderful game. I've been playing for over 300 hours now and still havent touched survival more than getting to space because its just so fun to build ships, and I'm so sure that once i get into survival it will be even more fun!

The error message “TryChangeToFullscreen failed” appears to be the cause of the crash. To fix this, please go to the game’s main menu, open Options > Display, and change your Video Mode to another recommended aspect ratio (marked with ***).
Also, try switching the Window Mode from current selected to Windowed, Fullscreen Window, or Fullscreen. Save the changes and then try playing the game again.
If the issue still occurs after trying these steps, please send us the complete log file from the session when the crash happened so we can investigate further.
