Event controller fails to recognize block on grid.
Need More Information
A ship has an event controller looking at it's connector. After being damaged in combat, the connector is destroyed. The ship is then welded from projection for repairs.
When the player goes to setup the event controller, it is unable to see the connector until... drumroll.... the ship is powered down and then powered back up.
So far, this had been a one-time thing, and is not a consistent thing that I have been seeing. It maybe. IDK. This is the only time I've seen it.
Here's a link to a short YT video detailing the "incident."

Hello Jesse!
Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.
From the video you attached, we can see that you have active mods, and mods can break the game’s basic functionalities. We understand that this issue has hampered your gameplay, but we need to confirm whether it also occurs in an unmodded scenario. Please, try pasting the blueprint of the affected grid into an unmodded/vanilla world, or try removing all mods from the world/server to see if the issue still occurs. If the issue does not occur in an unmodded world, it confirms that the problem is caused by a mod that is either broken or not compatible with the latest version of the game. Since there are thousands of mods available, it’s not possible for us to provide support for them and it is the responsibility of mod creators to keep their mods updated and compatible with the latest version of the game.
But if the issue still persists in a vanilla world/server, please send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, as this will help us investigate and attempt to reproduce it on our side. If possible, please also share the vanilla/unmodded world save or the dedicated server save file.
Kind Regards,
Keen Software House: QA Department
