Hey FYI I ran into this issue last night. If you have the Defense Shields mod, make sure it's up to date and turn off your shields. It prevents jump drives from working if the shields are up.

This happens to my carrier that has an open landing bay and four small fighters landed and attached to it via magplates as well, it has been reported by several people that play the scenario this carrier is in. It has a vanilla jump drive and no weaponcore or other things enabled. It happens in established saves and new instances of the world.

This is happening to me any time I'm close to a planet and try to jump when facing away from it.

An example would be to place yourself just outside of Earth's gravity and attempt to blind-jump 5km away from the planet.

Same thing happening to me too. Close to planets, when trying to jump away.

If the back of your ship is facing the planet it wont jump, face you back so it is not facing the planet and it jumps, strange!

I've been noticing the same problems with both large grid and small grid, but the success or failure rate seems to vary considerably. For example:

1. If I move my large grid ship out and look at the GPS I want to go to, it will not jump, if I follow the same trajectory with a small grid ship it will jump.

2. Neither ship will jump from a GPS between a moon and a planet to a GPS also between a moon and a planet, and they will not make any straight line blind jump between those locations.

3. Random jumps that are at an oblique angle away from those locations will usually work, but anything less than a 45 degree angle seems to fail.

4. Secondary jump coordinates made to bypass those restrictions usually works (ie: a location 20km away from the target, or a 2km distant GPS from a static grid).

5. NPC station GPS makers are unaffected so long as you are not moving between locations as a described above.

6. Return trips from short distances (ie: <150km) sometimes work, for no discernable reason, but jumps from 9000km away do not unless it is to a marker 2km away from where you really want to be.

7. You also must be further away from a safe zone to jump than prior to the last update.

8. This sort of issue has occurred before with the Warfare 2.0 update, when planets seemed to cast a much larger gravity shadow.

9. Despite the changes, I'm still arriving in the same locations at NPC stations that I would normally spawn at, such as 1.2km away, with the exception of the trade station with the large shuttle hangar. That one still has me complete my jump inside the safe zone, sometimes mere metres away. This station type, along with the one shaped like a spoke, seems to occasionally try to eat my ship when jumping to them.
