Mouse Cursor Flickering Around Screen In 1st Person
Solved
I keep seeing my mouse cursor blinking in and out on the screen in random places while flying around in space in 1st person view or while in a cockpit. The cursor shouldn't be visible at all while I'm flying but there it is teleporting itself all over the place. Very weird.

Hello Engineer,
Thank you for reaching our forum with this problem.
We tested this on our side and the mouse cursor doesn’t flicker during normal gameplay, so it looks like this might be something specific to your setup. In most cases when the cursor shows up randomly in games, it means the game is losing control of the mouse for a moment. This can happen for example if overlays (Steam, Discord, Nvidia, etc.) are active, or if the game is running in borderless/windowed mode rather than fullscreen.
Does this problem happen to you only in Space Engineers or in other games as well?
Could you try running the game in exclusive fullscreen and see if that makes a difference? Also, please try disabling any overlays you might have running in the background. If you’re using mods, it would also help to test the same thing in a clean, vanilla world to see if the issue still happens there.
If you are using two (or multiple) monitors, try also turning the other one off, and use only one, to see if the cursor can keep control better.
If the problem continues, could you share a short video of the flickering along with a log file from the session where it happened?
You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
That way we’ll have a better chance to match what’s happening on screen with what the game is recording in the background.
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards

Thanks for the reply. I loaded up the game to try the things you suggested and before I even did anything I couldn't make the issue reappear. It seems to have magically resolved itself and I have no idea why. Sorry for the bother and thank you for the help! If it pops back up I'll do the testing you suggested.
