Running the new 0.6.4.IC8BA5
Having updated our Dedicated Server, our research has been reset.
The schematic "Basic Engineering" is referred to for the crafting of such elements as timber, small chest, and bed. However is not present in the research book, nor in the admin shift+F10 menu. As a result, it is not possible to craft those basic items.
However, when a new world is begun in single player, it appears "Basic Engineering" is a starting technology which does not require research.
It also appears new players have access, but existing players do not.

The new hotfix appears to have fixed the problem for my character personally. I will talk with some of the other members today and see how they are going.

Hello, that does not sound good. But for now, if you open F1 screen there is an option to restart tutorial. Try it for now and maybe it will help.
One more thing. Maybe check the game option to check that tutorial is not set to Never start.
