[playtest] Computer freezes loading game at 22%

The screen shows loading (22%) game freezes (still have access to desktop etc.) with the circle windows wait cursor. If you wait long enough, it appears that the game will actually enter.
I have the same bug
The game loads up to 22% and seems to be frozen. Wait a good solid minute, however, and it will suddenly jump to 99%. ME is a resource hog.

It's just where it loads everything at once instead of systematically.
