Palisade gate exploded by dead barbarian

I had killed a barbarian who was knocking on my front palisade gate, then afterwards his body lay in the middle of the opening. Not thinking twice about it, I shut it on him. One momentary game freeze later, and half my front palisade now consists of a large hole.
Steps to reproduce: lay a barbarian's body directly across the gate so that it will intersect and merge into the gate model.

My door exploded too.
Barbarian are hard to kick out of the way, I wish I could move the corpse, dump it in a hold and shovel dirt over them. Just for the fun of moving a corpse away from the door.
