Land claims right now are messy with having to go to different places to ensure taxes are paid to someone...
I have various ideas to make it better, one land claims are just bigger the other one claim for multiple areas.
In bigger claims you just have increasing radius of claim based on upgrades to the claim banner, you would pay taxes per tile claimed on that banner though.
In multi- there be various areas claimed but you pay taxes at the main claim piece only.
Their can also be later automated way to pay but if you do not go online after x amount of time it still decays the claim.
