G menu mouse delay

In the G menu the mouse clicks are delayed by about 1/3 of a second, enougn for me to keep grabbing the wrong items form them menu consistantly ( because I click the mouse then drag to add to my toolbar).
it is simple to test, just try to gram an item from teh g menu quickly and it will pick an icon that is tipically below it.

This is known but it is not easy to fix. In the meantime, try using right-click to add items.
