Cant join certain servers. (stuck at 99% or downloading mods)

I have no problem joining servers with no mods. But when it comes to some heavy modded stuff i either got stuck at downloading mods or at 99% when loading the server world. And i mean really stuck. 10-15 min may pass, but still nothing.
I've tried cleaning mod folder and reinstalling the game. No change.

Have you fixed it? i have the same issue with one server which is about the only server i play on (no longer)
As a matter of a fact i am stuck at 0% and i left it for like 1 hour and it was still at 0%
