No particle effects

I do not get particle effects in with Medievil Engineers and Space engineers can anyone help

I have

CPU: i5 - 4690 CPU @3.5 GHz

Ram: 16GB

OS: 64x Bit

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 X2 With SLI

(note: in Nvidia control panel I have told Medievil Engineers to use GPU 2 and to Disabled the SLI )

still no particle effects

Please Help
