unable to place block (ME)

I was moving parts of my base around and remodeling, I accidentally remove some blocks. When I tried to replace them the box shows red and can't place the block. I tried with other blocks and objects and get the same result. I tried removing my claim block with no such luck either, I receive no error messages and have even tried placing the blocks in creative mode. Attached is my save game file.

Was this ever resolved? I have the exact same issue. I deconstructed a few blocks from my already fully built house and now when I try to rebuild using the same foundation, floor or walls it won't let me place the block. It's acting as though I lost control of the house/ownership.

Keen abandoned the game and left it with the community to fix, might have better luck in Steam discussions.
