1.25 Meter windows+detail slopes Space engineers 2

I was saddened to discover you cannot place detail slopes or quarter blocks in the empty space against the slope of a triangle 1.25m window while building a rover and trying to build a kind of vent window behind an A pillar like structure like in alot of cars. (screenshot isnt entirely accurate to what i was doing but more of a visual to try and get the idea. with how well the grid system works with placing blocks in new ways i hope this is something that can be changed in the future if possible... if not perhaps SE-2 needs flat windows similar in thickness to the SE-1 types that can be placed on the outside or inside allowing for a similar build

some extra screenshots i took attempting to show what i was trying to do. albeit inset into the rovers hull and with the detail slopes snug against the window
