Large Cargo Container Port Broken

There is a bug report here that looks similar but it is different and I am not experiencing that bug.
I am unable to open certain ports on the large cargo container:
I've also seen issues with the bottom port.
On rare occasions I will be able to access the left side of the A2 port or otherwise from another angle.
Also, bumping the container and having it move a tiny bit will make the highlight flicker and it can be accessed if the button is pressed several times. This suggests to me a precision or z-fighting issue.
Tested in creative and survival. The other ports on the large and other cargo containers seem fine.
