Main Contract GPS Markers Disappear When Failing Randomly Appearing Contracts

The Bug

Travelling from Palatine Station to Kemik Station, heading directly towards the orange GPS marker at Kemik Station which says "Next Contract 3597.54 km" shown in screenshot 1.

At some point along the journey, a random contract appears titled "Deliver Mineral Sample" with the objective to "Deliver the indicated amount to the sample collection box: Ice: 0/2000". This side-quest contract is automatically accepted and the 'main' next contract disappears as shown in screenshot 2.

Then if I keep flying (or actually just can't stop in time) and go out of distance, the contract automatically fails but the 'main' next contract marker doesn't reappear as shown in screenshot 3 and 4.

The issue is that this random contract is automatically accepted and removes the marker for the next main contract. Naturally, I'm in my largest ship and loaded-up, with two other ships on board too, flying at max speed to cover the distance. I can't stop in time to complete this random contract, but if I don't, it fails and I permanently lose the next contract marker I was initially heading to. Also, I don't particularly want to stop because it uses a ton of hydrogen in the process.

Reproduction

This is actually very quick and easy to reliably reproduce with no input required:

Step 1: Load my save file I included

Step 2: Confirm you can see the "Next Contract" GPS marker directly ahead

Step 3: Wait <30 seconds and the same random contract will be auto-accepted. Confirm you see the 'next contract' GPS marker disappear.

Step 4: Wait an additional <30 seconds and you'll fail that contract by going out of range, confirm you can no longer see either of the GPS markers.

My Thoughts

I think a nice fix would be to either stack markers, or have the player accept the random contracts that appear instead of automatically accepting them, maybe a "Nearby contract, press [key] to accept" or something, and also increase the range of the contract out to maybe 20km or 30km to allow enough time to respond and stop a large, loaded-up ship.
