Block build state varriant overload

Any hope of rollplay ability or emersion is lost the first time you weld a block and it sings its ridiculous to many build states song at you. FOUNDATION FRAMED FINISHED FFF the three real life stages of a building. Even if it was silent i have no use for incomplete blocks and i wonder what its costing performance wise.

Would it not have been miles easier to build a texturing tool and make a texture called incomplete block. The hours that must be going into these build variants just so you can see them for half a second at a time I love you guys but that seems like a huge mistake that is going to compound as the game get bigger.
