Items inside block storage should not be destroyed when item is

It's very non-intuitive to have items that are in a block be destroyed when the item is ground down or destroyed. Would prefer to have the items fall to the ground in a bag as with SE1.

It's also not obvious there are items in a damaged cargo/container block.
The expected behavior for grinding down a cargo block is that the "wall" of the container is destroyed and the items are just left loose inside the space that was previously used by the cargo block. If the ship or planet has gravity, then the items would just fall towards the gravity generator.

Yeah... I don't know why this isn't a thing, but I have a feeling they will introduce a similar system as SE1, drop everything in a cargo box when a block is destroyed.
I think this is more important when it comes to making a grinder ship... you grind down all those inaccessible crates and lose everything in them, not to mention if you have a large cargo that gets destroyed the entire inventory is gone....

Indeed, this might be something that is planned but not implemented yet, these sorts of things could be easily flagged in the system here, there is a 'planned' state for these, and a simple comment to that fact would help.

Well in SE1 if you ground down a cargo container and there were items in the cargo container they they went into your inventory first then ground down the block. I have noticed if you destroy a cargo container in SE2 each of the items SOMETIMES drop on the ground or in space.
