Hand Mining flashing is painful

Hi I finally have time to try SE2 and am enjoying it so far. I am playing the "campaign" and using the hand miner for more than 5 minutes is giving me a headache.
The flash from the drill while aesthetic is really hard on the eyes after a while. I would love an option to either disable it or tone it down. If for no other reason that it could trigger epileptic seizures in someone one day.
